Nickname: Kappas
Founding Date: November 1, 1989

Colors: Magenta and White

Purpose and Goals: The Beta Chapter of Kappa Zeta Phi sorority at the University of California, Irvine was colonized by five Founding Members on November 1, 1989. By working closely with CSULA Kappa Zeta Phi, Alpha Chapter, we were able to expand and establish a new Asian American sorority at UC Irvine. Kappa Zeta Phi membership is open to all female students at UC Irvine who are willing to learn and grow with us. We are centered around the qualities of education, leadership, responsibility, and sisterhood among our members. Throughout the year, our sorority participates in functions which include charitable, fundraising, and social activities in conjunction with UC Irvine and the outstanding communities. As our sorority continues to increase in membership with over 200 members and alumni, we strive to overcome all obstacles and forever continue our tradition of everlasting friendship and sisterhood.
