QKF Nickname: Thetas Colors: Rose and Light Rose Purpose and Goals: Founded in 1959 by Margaret Ohara Inouye, Theta Kappa Phi continues to represent the ideals upon which it was founded - sisterhood, scholarship, and service. Margaret Ohara Inouye had received a scholarship from the Panhellenic Greek Council, but upon their discovery that she was Asian, they would not allow her to join a Greek Sorority. Therefore, she resolved to form a sorority of her own. With the founders' simple wish to provide a choice between Asian sororities at UCLA, Theta Kappa Phi grew into an organization comprised of diverse women over the years. Contact Information
